Hi, I’m Jacqx, a calligrapher and digital artist based in Manila.

I studied Fine Arts, majoring in Interior Design, at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in the Philippines, and spent 11 years working as a Project Designer in Dubai.

During this time, I developed a deep fascination with blackletter calligraphy—a style rich in history, yet continuously evolving through modern interpretations. Its timeless elegance and versatility have captivated me, inspiring my journey into both traditional and digital calligraphy.

Today, I help others explore the beauty of calligraphy through digital brush packs, tutorials, and workshops, with a focus on combining traditional styles with modern tools like Procreate.

I also do freelance work in graphic design and logo design, collaborating with brands that appreciate the bold and unique flair of blackletter with a modern twist.
